Risk/benefit. If ivermectin works for you, great. It doesn’t work well now as a standalone agent (nothing seems to) for many people according to MDs I have interviewed that treat early COVID, including my own MD, Steven Phillips. Metformin is an old, largely safe drug —esp given it’s only taken for a week or 2 for COVID and not at a very high dose. My doc has had no issues with it and has treated hundreds of covid patients. I don’t love paxlovid but it does anecdotally work well if used for ten days.
Viruses play a role in nature that we are just beginning to understand. An "anti viral drug" sounds like a terrible idea. We've already screwed up the biome with antibiotics. In my opinion this could be even worse!

What about the side effects of Paxlovid and Metformin???
Ivermectin seems a much safer option??? And it helps ME very much. But again, after mRna injury, I get symptoms again as soon as I stop.
